  • IPV 101 Community Information Sessions

    Join us in Stratford for our final session of the season:

    Monday April 27th

    6:30 to 8:30pm

    Stratford Intermediate School

    Guest Speaker: Sydney Touzel, Survivor Advocate

    Join us and our community partners for an evening of learning how to recognize the signs of intimate partner violence, provide support to someone you are concerned about, hear the experiences of survivors, and connect with local resources on the spot to get the help you and your loved ones need.

    Dinner will be provided. Registration is required for food.

    Tuesday May 5th from 6:30 to 8:30pm at the Burnside Agriplex

    FREE COMMUNITY EVENT

    Join award-winning journalist and bestselling author Rick Westhead for an important conversation about sports culture, consent, and respect. Rick's investigative reporting helped spark a national conversation about abuse and silence in sport. We Breed Lions tells the story of what went wrong in hockey but the lessons reach every sport, team, and community.

    Together we'll explore what respectful and accountable team environments look like and what each of us can do to help create them.
